Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the full life-cycle sales process for The Ascendant Group within their area.  The Ascendant Group offers consulting & staffing services to a wide range of industries with an emphasis on technology driven roles.


  • Plan, develop and execute marketing and sales processes designed to maximize return.

  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers to secure new business opportunities.

  • Grow relationships to broaden the scope of services offered to existing client base.

  • Maintain the highest standard of service with new and existing accounts to ensure continued business.

  • Work in close conjunction with the recruiting team to clearly communicate client requirements and needs. You will be supported by a team.

  • Partner with the client to help them understand their talent need, sometimes the 5-year-old job description will not do it.

Experience and ability needed:

  • Strong desire to sell, not easily deterred from reaching a goal.

  • Excellent communication within a professional environment, ability to adapt and mirror different personalities.

  • Strong presentation skills, able to present to C-Suite level clients.

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize time effectively.

  • Deliver the highest level of client service.

  • Work independently with an entrepreneurial thought process.

Successful prior experience selling staffing services, RPO, or other B2B services is a must.
